The STL. Cardinals are currently at the top of the NL Central league. With the way they are playing there is no doubt they will remain there. There record is currently 15 and 7 with an 8 and 2 record at home and a 7 and 5 record on the road. There current winning streak is up to five games. The closest team to the Cardinals is the Cincinnati Reds at 11 and 11. I believe the Cardinals will hold their position at the top until the postseason starts.
The STL. Cardinals are currently sitting at a 9-5 record but take on Arizona tonight at 9:40. The Cardinals are looking to get a win with their ace on the mound in Chris Carpenter. Pujols so far this year has been outstanding. I have never seen someone in the major leagues jump out to such a great start! He currently has 6 homeruns, a batting average of .321, a slugging percentage of .696, and 16 RBI’s. I don’t know about everyone else but i think thats pretty outstanding!
The stl cardinals are off to a great start this year. Pujols is especially doing well. In the first game of the season he smacked a homerun and had 4 rbi’s. In the cardinals last game he hit 2 2run homeruns. The cardinals unfortunitley lost that game but showed they could come back when they were down. Looks like it will be another good year for Cardinal fans!
With March here, it is time to start thinking about march madness and the BIG tournament. Hopefully Kentucky will be a number one seed this year and have shown they are a top four team all year long. I encourage you to tell me how far you think they will make it this year. I believe they are going all the way this year. Some say they are too young and inexperienced but i have never seen a bunch of young men that can play as well together as they have. Wall will lead them along with Patterson and Cousins playing big roles. Patterson has stepped up and showed his upperclassmanship lately.

With Kansas and Kentucky recently lossing this weekend many people are wondering who should be #1. Many believe Syracuse is the number one team with their recent win over Villinova. The new coaches poll comes out monday so we will see who they believe should be #1
The USA hockey team plays today against Canada to compete for the gold medal. USA hockey has done very well this year and will get a medal no matter what. It will be difficult to beat the Canadians in their home country. The game starts at 3:00 today.
Kentucky is recently ranked #2 in the latest coaches poll. However yesterday they lost to Tennessee in a close game. Kentucky started out way behind but came back in the second half and tied the game at 65. The cats didnt have enough to pull out the victory and took their second loss of the season.
For those of you that didn’t know already the Colts beat he jets to move on to the Super bowl. The Saints also moved passed the Vikings in thrilling overtime fashion. The Colts got off to a slow start and didnt look good in a first half but picked it up in the second half to pull out a victory. The Colts play the Saints Sun. the 7th in the Super Bowl!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Colts will play the Jets next weekend and the Saints will play the Vikings.
Sports are something that have affected almost everyone at some point in their life, whether it be playing in high school or just enjoying watching a football game on Sunday. I really enjoy sports. I recently played football and baseball in high school and i really enjoy watching them on tv. Sports are something that i think everyone should get envolved in. You don’t have to play a sport but maybe sit down with the whole family and watch a game in the living room.
